Pastor Michelle La Flue, Founder & Executive Director of Pink Blossoms
Michelle La Flue is the mother of 2 children, owner of LaFlue-Walton & Associates real estate brokerage and a visionary. Her vision started with a program that brings sports, music and mentorship together for inner city youth and young adults to bring hope throughout communities with underserved populations. After being challenged to seek God for more clarity, Michelle was inspired to create the Pink Blossoms’ Conference and Mentorship Program for women who are in transitional homes because of substance abuse and/or mental health conditions.
She has 30 years of real estate experience in the Bay Area and sees firsthand the lack of housing in general. Housing is critical to the success of post-recovery graduates and their children. Since Pink Blossoms’ inception, many partnerships have been made to work together creatively.
She renders a significant difference by advocating for those who need it most. Efforts are now underway to develop sober living communities, giving women time to receive further education and training so they can live independently. Michelle received her B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis in Information Science from San Francisco State University. Her inspiration comes from one of her favorite Bible verses:
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
