Q. D. Wright- Knowledge is Power

Black Power Vote cjp

you don’t know you are in poverty until someone tells you,

you don’t know how it feels to lose until a teacher fails you,

you don’t know how much it weighs on your heart til someone scales you,

there is a Killmonger in every city,

someone ripped from the pages of there legacy,

not claimed by a place or person they are from,

only to come back and burn it to the ground,

how that sound?,

the lack of nurture the need to belong,

the community would not suffer,

the mixed up sense of loyalty would be a thing of the past,

you just don’t know,
