Radio’s Most Wanted DJ: Que Eleven

DJ Que Eleven has been heating the streets of Chicago up for years and he’s getting rewarded with a brand new show as well as being the headlining DJ for an upcoming concert with Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. Radio’s most wanted DJ is a force to be reckoned with and he’s not stopping anytime soon.

A. WaL: Whats good Dj Que Eleven my man 100 grand! How you been?

DJ Que Eleven: Im Great man , blessed

A. WaL: Tell us about the new show?

DJ Que Eleven: On Que radio is going to be broadcasted live on WLCK. We’re going to be doing a lot of fun stuff for the listeners. We’ll do bands versus bands or we might have Wu-Tang versus Dipset week. As Nas versus Jay-Z week. Pretty much anyone the listeners think is underrated or overrated we’re going to have on air battles and let the listeners vote to see who’s better.

A. WaL: What are some of your goals for the new show?

DJ Que Eleven: Honestly for the new show i want to attract some different listeners. As far as a wider range of demographic, more than just U.S. i want to get over seas listeners and U.S. listeners. I want to broaden the fan base and really play to the crowd.

A. WaL: What do you think is going separate this show from some of the others that are available?

DJ Que Eleven: This is my show it’s different, it’s a different type of show. Because i’m a different type of dude. You really can’t compare me to any other type of DJ i really walk to the beat of my own drum. It’s really whatever i want to do. There’s nobody in the office telling me what i should do or how the show should be, or what i should and shouldn’t say. I’m really vibing off of that it’s really just me. This is how i am on the radio and off the radio, there’s not going to be anything like it because i’m not offensive but i am straight forward. Theres no bias to it, what you see is what you get. There are some DJ’s that base their careers off of gimmicks but thats not me.

A. WaL: Whats up with the Raekwon and Ghostface show on August 5th and what are you looking forward to the most?

DJ Que Eleven: The vibes! When you’re in an arena with real Hip-Hop its only going to come out with real results. I just can’t wait to get with the fans and see what their energy is like because i’m going to feed off their energy and they’re going to feed off of mine. Also my man DJ Playmaka is going to make a guest appearance with me that’s my partner in crime. It’s going to make for a really great show.

A. WaL: Who’s your favorite Wu-Tang member and what’s you favorite Wu-Tang album:

DJ Que Eleven: My favorite Wu-Tang member is Method Man, my favorite Wu-Tang album is 36 Chambers and my favorite Raekwon album is Immobilarity! Wu-Tang had their own lane nobody was like anybody in Wu-Tang that’s what made them that much better as a group because they all had their own individual talent. When Raekwon comes to Chicago it’s always love man. First time i met him at the radio station as an intern, the second time i met him conducting an interview for the radio station and television show, this time I’m actually going to be a colleague getting to share the stage with him. Every time i see him there’s more progression on my career as well as his. It’s always a good look when you link up with some legendary artist like Raekwon and GhostFace.

A. WaL: What else do you have coming up that we can look forward to?

DJ Que Eleven: I’m putting together an album that you can look forward to, and I already have an EP up on Apple music called the “Alien EP”. Go out there download that, catch those good vibes, and look out for the new music.

A. WaL: Anything else you wanna let the listeners know?

DJ Que Eleven: I’m gonna keep these air waves lit, and i’m definitely going to bring back the goodnight kiss mix. Which is going to set the airwaves on fire for the ladies and all the guys trying to get lucky! The baby making music will proceed, I just cant wait to get back on the airwaves and please the listeners. The new show starts Sept. 11 and it’s going to be crazy.

Before I go i just want to thank God first and foremost and all the supporters that have been with me thru the years from the hole in the walls to the sold out concerts. I have to thank my loving wife Tierra who’s been supporting me and holding me down so I want to thank her personally, I love you. She made me the luckiest man on the planet May 20, 2016.
